An aspiring hair stylist and makeup artist since her youth, Dana's career was sparked by her discovery of the magic of makeup while taking part in community theater. She then went on to professionally pursue face and body art; plying her craft at festivals, sporting events, parties, and photo shoots, and expanding her skillset through a theatrical makeup class at Temple University and training with master artists at local conventions. A graduate of the Jean Madeline Aveda Insitute in Philadelphia, Dana has had a lifelong love for the salon environment and watching people glow upon the sight of a fresh new look. She fondly recalls her first foray into theatrical hair; giving a friend a dramatic makeover for his role in "The Rocky Horror Show," in which she acted as well.
