Chief artist Dana Bee's lifelong interest in multiple aspects of the arts developed in her childhood and continues to flourish to this day.  She has three years' experience as a summer camp arts and crafts specialist but loves working with people of all ages. She enjoys dabbling in a wide variety of art forms (including traditional crafting, jewelry design, digital imaging, edible art, and puppetry) and loves to create whenever possible.  She is also a musician and has taken part in numerous plays and musicals as well as classes in improv comedy.

An aspiring cosmetologist since she was nine years old, Dana has assisted with makeup application for numerous stage productions including "Once Upon A Mattress" and "Seussical the Musical."  After attending a production of "The Rocky Horror Show" during her sophomore year of college for which a friend designed all the actors' makeup, Dana was enthralled by what she saw and scrapped her original career goal as a professional Spanish interpreter in hopes of pursuing a career as a theatrical cosmetologist.  It was then that she decided to work towards establishing
herself as a face and body artist and creative entrepreneur.

Although Dana recalls teaching herself the bare basics of face painting at the age of four after getting her hands on a set of face paints her mom had purchased, her training began in May 2009 at a workshop led by master face painters Natalie Foxhill and Philadelphia Tivoli.  A few months later, Dana began face painting professionally at a variety of events, including festivals, parties, and sporting events.  She regularly attends workshops and classes to learn new designs and techniques.
She has had the privilege of learning from such talented artists as Karen Sawyer, Mark Reid, Pashur, Lucie Brouillard, and Sean Avram.  In May 2011, Dana received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from Temple University, after which she spent six and a half months in Orlando, Florida on the Walt Disney World College Program as a Merchandise Cast Member at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  Now, after returning to the city of Brotherly Love, Dana plans to invest her time in even more artistic media and continue working towards pursuing her theatrical cosmetology career.
